Kristie’s wine career spans more than two decades, starting as a harvest intern in 2002 in Sonoma, CA at Copain Wines. After harvest, she took on the Beverage Director role at Market Restaurant in Napa Valley - winning the award for Best New Wine List from Food & Wine Magazine. Kristie moved back to her hometown of New York where she held sommelier positions at Eleven Madison Park, Daniel, Craft, and Jean Georges, making history at the latter by becoming the first female chef sommelier at a 3-Michelin starred restaurant in the United States.
Kristie started a consulting company upon her departure from Jean Georges, catering to private and corporate clients, as well as dedicating herself to wine education. She has led numerous wine seminars and tastings around the country and is often featured in publications for her expertise.
At Petrullo Wine Company, Kristie utilizes her relationships with importers, winemakers, and collectors to offer her clients fine and rare wines from around the world. In addition, she offers guidance on collecting, dining, gifting, wine service and travel. Think of her as your go-to sommelier that can be consulted for all wine-related topics.
